Needed a new roof on a large conservatory which was cold, noisy and leaked in wet windy weather. We live on a hill and are very exposed so an insulated solid roof was required. After several silly quotes and typical ‘salesman’ visits we invited Thermolite to come and quote.
That was, in retrospect, a fine move.
Gary came out and, with a refreshingly honest and friendly approach, he gave us confidence that this was the company to go with. His detailed description of the products used and the results we could expect along with a surprisingly affordable quote made the decision easy.
Joe and the team turned up exactly when they said they would and worked in some very challenging conditions (-3C) to get the job done in the timescale agreed.
All the mess was cleaned up inside and out and Joe was friendly and helpful whenever we had questions regarding the build. We now have a room with stunning views that is where we actually live most of the time, eat and watch tv in and where we can now entertain visitors with pride rather than embarrassment. The room was previously not usable in really cold weather, but now it is so much warmer.
There were a couple of slight niggles after the job was complete but after sale service was excellent and Joe came out promptly and sorted them.
All in all a very satisfied customer who would definitely recommend Thermolite.

We decided to upgrade our conservatory roof and looked at a few construction techniques, after seeing the Leka system online we decided on a replacement roof rather than an attempt to insulate the existing polycarbonate panels.
Local installer Thermolite were recommended by Lena and we were not disappointed! Excellent professional follow up to the enquiry, great communications and the team started and finished when they said they would, price was reasonable considering what we were having done and we are really pleased with the results - hence the 5 Star rating. Conservatory is cooler on sunny days and we're expecting warmer in the winter. Can't tell if it's raining now unless we look out the window, no more racket from the conservatory - although this summer so far you can pretty much guarantee the rain most days! - Well Done Thermolite.

After a number of quotes it was good to meet Gary who was very professional in his presentation which was thorough and easy to understand. Price was competitive. The team arrived on the due date and were excellent, also tidying up after themselves.
The quality of the materials and work was excellent and we are very happy with the outcome which fulfilled the promise. They also produced a Building Regulations Certificate which is a plus.
The fact they are a British Company manufacturing their own products is a big plus. A big thank you and we wish them well.

Not at all. We use advanced, lightweight materials, such as GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) and specialised lightweight tiles that are specifically designed for this purpose. These systems are often only a fraction of the weight of a traditional slate roof, meaning they can be safely installed on almost all existing conservatory structures without additional reinforcement.
